XAE was formed in 1989 to recognize the academic achievements of students selected to participate in higher education opportunity programs, such as EOF, ASP and TRIO. Its purpose is to promote continued high academic standards, create unity among its members and to honor academic excellence achieved by students. Congratulations to all!

TheĀ conference’s title and theme was “Redesigning Our Narrative”Ā and students were awarded the opportunity to build upon leadership skills while gaining lasting professional networks. This was the second largest student delegation from Āé¶¹“«Ć½AVPeter’sĀ EOFĀ Program to participate at theĀ conference.

Students in the EOF Program Travel to Trenton /academics/programs-services/eof/2015/04/01/students-in-the-eof-program-travel-to-trenton/ Wed, 01 Apr 2015 14:54:04 +0000 /eof/?p=117 eof studentsĀé¶¹“«Ć½AVPeter’s students from the Educational Opportunity Fund Program (EOF) traveled to Trenton, N.J. on Thursday March 26 to visit legislators at the state capitol building. The visit was in regards to a proposed $1.528 million (-3.9%) budget reduction to the EOF state budget by the governor. EOF students joined together with the EOF Statewide Alumni Association of New Jersey, the Alliance of EOF Students of New Jersey and the EOF Professional Association of New Jersey along with the state director for EOF, to explain the importance of this program. The EOF students in attendance from all across the state were encouraged by Senator Ronald L. Rice and other assemblymen and assemblywomen to become active members of the political system within the state of New Jersey to ensure that their voices are heard and that community needs are being acknowledged and met.
