“Literary Travels: Visions of Italy”

Over the spring break of 2025, the English Department took a group of twenty-six current students, alumni, faculty, staff and friends to Italy for “Literary Travels: Visions of Italy.” Among trip highlights was a guided tour of the Opera del Duomo Museum in Florence, hosted by museum designer and director–and Â鶹´«Ã½AVPeter’s alumnus of 1968–Monsignor Timothy Verdon. In Rome, Taylor Fulkerson, SJ, gave the group a tour of the rooms of Â鶹´«Ã½AVIgnatius of Loyola and the Chiesa del Gesu, where he is buried.
