It is common for students to change their major after beginning their studies at Âé¶¹´«Ã½AVPeter\u2019s University. Federal regulations require that any change in major be reported to SEVIS within 21 days of the change. Therefore, F-1 students who have changed their major must submit a request for an updated Form I-20 through the International Student Portal.<\/p>\n
To be eligible for a change of major I-20, you must:<\/p>\n
Federal regulations require that F-1 students demonstrate sufficient funding for the entire academic year of the new program before a new Form I-20 can be issued.

Note:<\/strong> If your new program will take less than one year to complete, the amount of financial proof required for your new I-20 will be adjusted (prorated) based on the length of your remaining studies.<\/p>\n Please allow 5\u201310 business days<\/strong> for the Center for Global Learning to review your request and issue your new Form I-20.
