Jersey City (April 21, 2005) The National Invitation Tournament and the Met Basketball Writers Association named junior guard Keydren Clark of Âé¶¹´«Ã½AVPeter’s College as this year’s winner of the 72 nd Haggerty Award. The award honors the All-Met Division I player of the year. Clark, a Business Management major at Âé¶¹´«Ã½AVPeter’s, became the eighth player to repeat as Division I national scoring champion, posting a 25.8 ppg average. He is the first Âé¶¹´«Ã½AVPeter’s player to receive the prestigious Haggerty Award. Clark was also named as an All-Met first team selection for the third consecutive year. Through three seasons, Clark has 2,218 points. He has 330 career 3-point baskets, 83 shy of the all-time Division I national career record.
