JERSEY CITY, N.J. – March 25, 2026 – (District 32; Hudson County; Hoboken/Jersey City) visited the campus of Â鶹´«Ã½AVPeter’s University today. She spent time meeting with University President Hubert Benitez, D.D.S., Ph.D. and Vice President and General Counsel & Chief External Affairs Officer Paula Mercado Hak as part of an ongoing open dialogue with the university and local political officials.
The meeting was focused on a mutually beneficial relationship between Assemblywoman Brennan and the University, with an aim towards opening doors of the Â鶹´«Ã½AVPeter’s to the Assemblywoman for any and all of her needs.
Dr. Benitez noted that the dialogue was also centered around a “collective inquiry” with regards to what Â鶹´«Ã½AVPeter’s and the Assemblywoman have to offer each other. The targeted outcome of such meetings is to foster a positive, collaborative relationship between the University and local politicians for both now and with an eye towards the future.
