\n(201) 761-6110<\/em><\/p>\nBeth Kornstein brings more than 30 years of advancement leadership experience to Â鶹´«Ã½AVPeter\u2019s University, where she currently serves as Interim Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Strategic Engagement. In this role, Beth provides strategic direction and transitional leadership for the university\u2019s advancement division, overseeing the areas of alumni engagement, annual giving, donor and institutional engagement, leadership and
\nplanned gifts, and operations. Partnering closely with the President, the Board of Trustees, and other internal and external stakeholders, Beth guides the development and implementation of fundraising strategies that support institutional priorities and strengthen the university\u2019s culture of philanthropy.<\/p>\n
Before joining Â鶹´«Ã½AVPeter\u2019s, Beth served as Interim Vice President for Development and Alumni Relations and President of the Foundation at the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). There, she led a team of 35 professionals and played a central role in planning for the university\u2019s next comprehensive campaign, aligned with NJIT\u2019s 2030 strategic plan. During her six year tenure at NJIT \u2013 the first five years spent as Associate Vice President, Leadership and Planned Gifts \u2013 she secured multiple principal and blended gifts and provided executive leadership to the Foundation Board of Directors, ensuring effective governance, fiscal oversight, and philanthropic growth.<\/p>\n
Earlier in her career, Beth held senior advancement roles at Drew University and Caldwell University, where she directed comprehensive fundraising and alumni engagement programs, led cross-functional teams, and cultivated a robust network of major donors, alumni, and institutional partners. Her early career included advancement and development positions with Teachers College, Columbia University; Stevens Institute of Technology; Brandeis University; and Montclair State University spanning leadership in annual giving, major and planned gifts, corporate and foundation relations, and campaign management.<\/p>\n
